HyPSI87,
Your Power Formula is appreciated. Here's mine:
*Stock Turbo
*Spearco (now Turbonetics) 2-230 Liquid Intercooler (installed this past Labor Day weekend)
*Fully instrumented real time intercooler I/O temperature readings and AF on A-Pillar
*Custom dashboard (GNX-type) with all VDO gauges, including RPM and Boost
*Lucas/Tomco 38 #/hr. Injectors
*Walbro pusher (don't remember the model, but largest available for GN fuel tank)
*Alky Control's Progressive Alcohol kit (on order and will be installed within 2-weeks)
*ATR (ARRGH!) headers and Down pipe (will be replaced shortly with Poston's). ATR’s crack and crack and crack!
*"ATR" (not made by them) Beefed rear stabilizer bar – totally mitigates wheel hop!
*ATR 7th Injector (that's coming off with the installation of the Alky kit).
*Pit Bull Street PROM (this is coming off with the installation of the Alky kit too, in favor of the chip they recommend - more on that later)
*SSM "Instant Center" correcting lower trailing arms (will be installed with the Alky kit) – The GN’s stock instant center is incredibly good, but a couple of degrees improvement won’t hurt…
*Running "stock" tires (sticky, but street tires)
Here's what we have for performance:
1). Without the Alky kit (and the revisions pending that installation), 1.63 60' at 12.4 ET with 103 something MPH in quarter – I know I have the 60’ and ET correct, but the end speed is foggy – I lost the slip on that run. That run was one single officially recorded pass as a grudge race I ran in 2003 - and that was obviously prior to the liquid intercooler installation. My accelerometer records 0-60 MPH in 4.52 seconds (same pre-alky kit, equipment). Shame on me, I haven’t yet recorded the new numbers with the liquid intercooler installed – probably won’t change much for 0-60; it will improve the ¼ mile. Yep, the tires remain “stock” and will for the following (and probably “for keeps”)…

HyPSI87,
Hum... I accidentally cut off the last part of my previous note so you have no idea what "for the following (and probably “for keeps”)… means. Here's what I cut off:
I’ll post new information following 11/12/04 - All new installations and modifications (specified above) will have been completed for CA Speedway, private rental of NRHA sanctioned strip.
Wish me luck.
Best Regards,
Chuck
