'92 Dynasty Electrical Issues

My '92 runs fine except couple months back the electric trunk control was giving me trouble (not fuse related) so I disconnected it and open trunk w/key. Now when I shut off engine other night, the dome lights/side door lights came on and wouldnt go off. So not to drain battery I pulled the fuse which also takes out the radio. Is this somehow connected to my starter and can I get under somewhere and poke around? This issue doesnt affect the driving. Also I should note I am an idiot about cars and know very little beyond keeping the fluids clean.
