I have a 89 Buick Regal with a 2.8 that just quit rumnning and won't start.
It seemed like an out of gas problem. I towed it home and a few days later it started and ran until it got hot and then quit again.
I have replaced the fuel pump and filter. The pressure is good.
I have replaced the coils and coil control module. I am getting spark.
All injectors appear to be working.
I have checked injector wires witha noid light. Light flashing.
I swaped out the computer with one that I know works in another 2.8. and the one from this car works in the other car.
I have unplugged every sensor that I could find, one at a time. Still no start.
I would check the Crankshaft Position Sensor and the Camshaft Position Sensor if I knew where they were.
Any Ideas?

The crank sensor is in the back of the block, toward the passenger side, just above the oil pan, and is held in with an 8mm headed bolt. it's a common problem in 2.8 and 3.1 v-6's. the car doesn't have a cam position sensor
