So what have you girls got planned this year? :D I heard it's President's Day long weekend for the Americans ;) Family Day is on the 18th up here, so we're just gonna take the whole weekend off and go skiing in Banff starting Thursday among other things. Ah...the beautiful Rockies :D

Haven’t got anything special planned this year (it’s usually a big one, but we’re still recovering from our trip to Sydney at Christmas! :p )
Probably just going to have a nice quiet dinner for two at home with the children (the cats! :p ).

I am flying to Pittsburgh PA Thursday morning to attend my grandparents 50th Anniversary!Its gonna be the first time all the kids and grandkids will be in the same exact place at the same exact time!
me and my cuz are flying in from florida, and my uncle and his kids are comming from Indiana...Its gonna be quite a party!
kinda sucks I won't be with my man that day...but we decided Olive Garden on Wednesday evening was gonna have to be our V-Day

Vid: Welcome back to Pittsburgh! :p Where the current temperature is a miserable 30 degrees and yet we have no snow...
I just found my Valentine, so we probably won't be doing anything "fun" in that way. That, and I have to work that evening :mad: so I won't have much time on my hands... I just hope I get to chill out with the b/f a little bit :D

And a happy V-Day to everyone here :)
Alex is still recovering from a bad bout with the flu this past week (both stomach and respiratory :eek: ) so probably just a quiet dinner out. Since we both are short on $$ I told him not to get me anything. All his friends tease him and say "She may have said that but if you don't, she'll get pissed and then you'll be on the couch for a week." Not true. I don't wear jewelry too often and I don't want another knick knack to add to the shelf and have one more thing to dust. Car parts are always a plus but I am pretty much thru modding my car except for rebuilding the stereo system....and I have all the stuff I need for that...just need to do it.
Aside from tomorrow (thursday) being V-day, it is also the day we got engaged 3 years ago :D Wedding date is still pending, mostly because of $$.

a bit of delayed response from me :p
um, well V day is a bit of a non-event for me. Somehow after 10 years together you don't kinda bother anymore?? We'd rather celebrate our anniversary.
i think it's a great day for ppl who are in a "newish" relationship 'cos it gives you both an excuse to get all romantic with flowers and dinner and the whole deal ;)
