my friend has a 1990 civic 4 spd STD HB,
& wants to know if he can take a honda accord motor 2.0 & put it in the 90 civic std, also a 5 spd accord tranny,
if it will, what would all have to be replaced on the civic from the accord?
if you have any suggestions that would help him out let us know,

Its kinda like put'n the h22 in. I believe you will need the aftermarket h22 swap mounts for the 4th gen civics. I dont know anyone with that type of set up. I would rather put an h22 if you're goin through all that trouble. STD has dpfi which you need to convert to MPFI, you will also need dx/si hubs. Tell him to get another swap.

you know the part with the studs that the brake rotor sits on..has splines in it for the axlem cause you cant use the original STD axles.
