you dickhead pete. trust an westaussie to think a malvern star is sexy

depends on the chick. i reckon italian's are the go. Aprilia or Ducati. my sister in law who is into this kinda thing reckons most new bikes (cbr600/1000 r6/1 or gixers or zx1000) or the goods BUT they have to have a good colour scheme and be modded.

for a real chicks point of view, wait for tangie

hehe ya its true

sports bikes bro, most chics just like the idea and the image of the bike and rider.
cruisers do nothing, but a nice sports bike would attract plenty of attention

in general chics havent the faintest idea about what the hell the difference between an R1 and an R6, (most guys too) as long as it looks good they lovem.

the kinda sports bike really doesnt matter IMO

Shit, most chicks just want to see something on 2 wheels that "looks cool". They don't know crap about how big the motor is or anything. I've seen dudes on Ninja 250s pick up chicks.

wife's opinion: has to be sounding grunty and not like a whippersnipper. colour is important and looks aggressive. she knows nothing about bikes but rates my cbr high(not biased or anything he he)

good point though, you can't see the guys face in a helmet but he should have style in his leathers and a good helmet (no stickers)

I didn't know you spoke androgenous, how fluent!

SamBlob

Aren't most sportbike's PITAs too, rather more literally, after the first 15 minutes or so? My Twinstar usually took about an hour to become one, at which point I would sing this quite audibly while riding:

"Oh, my batty is hurting me,
I don't know why, I just can't see;
It hurts me right down to my soul,
It hurts me so-o-OOOO,
My batty hole!"

Then, when it gets even worse, the singing degenerates to this (to the tune of a vocal exercise):

"My ass is in pain,
My ass is in pa-ay-ay-aiiiin,
My-ay-ay ass i-i-is in pain."

...by which time I try to find somewhere to pull over and walk around for a few minutes.

I realize now (after I've stopped riding...duh!) that I should have timed how long it takes for the pain to first start setting in, and then stopped just before that time elapsed on subsequent rides.

If you break a 400+ mile ride down into approximately hour-long rides with food/stretch breaks intermittently, it usually doesn't end up in much pain... unless you sit heavy on the bars, then your shoulders might hurt (like mine usually do)

when i'm riding two up, it takes 15 min before i need to stop but solo i'm fine for about an hour or so. don't feel the strain if i get to move around and corner properly. straight line touring shits me after 30min.

I am usually good for the first three or four hours, then its touch and go. Gotta keep moving in the saddle. Its when you are stagnant that my ass starts buggin.

And how, exactly, does my being stagnant affect your ass? :eek7: (I'm sure I don't want to know, but I had to ask anyway... )

I think the late Bimota bikes are some of the most exotic bikes in the world such as the SB6, SB7, SB8 models, the 500 VDUE, DB4, my personal favorite; SB8R.

Bad choice of wording.

What I meant was move your ass around in the saddle once in a while and you will be able to ride longer. If you are anything above a novice rider you should know that sitting in the same spot will limit your riding abilities. Smart ass.

Some folks call me a smart ass.

Some folks call me a dumb ass.

But if I get back into riding, I'll take your *revised* advice, and avoid getting a numb ass.

The new Dukes look reallllllllllllllly crap from the front i must say, and i think you'll find alot of other riders will agree :D..

the MV Agusta F4 is an absolutly unreal bike, according to magazines (which i dont entirely trust) is a beautifully crafted machine, mechanically and physically, and looks the treat too :)

And the MV Agusta F4 Senna is the equivalent to a Mclaren F1GTR or whatever multimillion dollar sports car of your choice.

Good thing about it is it's inline 4, even if it's Italian. The rider can redline it up to 180 mph on the 750, give or take with speedo error.

I hear that the 2005 999 engine will be a lot stronger than the current engine package. The base bike will be pushing more power than the 2004 999R, which makes the 2005 999R something to be desired too. As for the fairings, I think the 999/749 scream attention. The Desmosidici GP4 production bike might be extremely desirable. I imagine it being one of those poster-bikes people have in their garages.

Even though the 2005 GSX-R1000 is ugly I hear the bike will weigh ten more pounds over the GSX-R600 and unleash a devastating amount of grunt. Sounds too hardcore for a road bike.
