Lexus GS & Toyota Echo

Here's my argument in favor of the Echo's design:
Recipe:
Ingredients:
1 Lexus GS (Toyota Aristo) sedan
1 Toyota Echo sedan
Smush the GS from front to back, but leave it just as tall. Sprinkle weird dark grey mouldings around the bottom. Pinch the grill. Take off the second sets of headlights and taillights. Replace alloy wheels with wheel covers (still six-spoke!) Take the 300's three-liter engine and cut it in half; put the 1.5-liter engine back in, but leave in the VVT-i. Remember: Carefully discard the other half of the engine in a leak-proof container.
Finally, shave the price down by about 2/3!
Don't forget to move it from the Lexus dealership to the Toyota lot next door. ;)

People keep saying that the Echo's too "bubbly," so I wanted to show that it's not the only one...
I know no one will want to admit it, but you all see it, don't you?

Hmm...I can see what you mean, but it doesn't really defend the Echo. It's still bubly, and a GS would be too if it was that short. Lengthen the Echo, but keep the hubcaps, gray mouldings, and single lights and then you have a normal looking car. But then again, it wouldn't be a subcompact, so they're no point anyway. :D:D

If I had money to spend frivolously and was bored enough, I'd take the Echo over the GS, hack off the entire rear end and reassemble it with Vitz/Yaris parts. Damn, I should have done that to my 200sx before I sold it, and made it a Pulsar.

I once saw two cars in one before. It looks cool. I want somebody to make a Lamborarri.

Somewhere, I have a picture of a Corolla wagon that had a Boxster hood and front end spliced onto it. The guy called it a Pourolla.:flash:
