I just purchased a 1995 Firebird - the previous owner had an aftermarket radio in it - took it out, and gave me the OEM radio.
That radio was no good. Went to junk yard - got an OEM radio that they checked out and confirmed it worked good.
I had to re-attach the OEM wiring harness - confirmed 12V power coming through on Orange and....I can't recall the other color - but with the key on.
The clock works, when the lights are turned on, the radio lights work....however, there is no display and no radio stations.....the main fuse for the radio was blown - had replaced same.
Is there another inline fuse that I need to look for?
Thanks .

Does the car have a remote amplfier in it ?
Was the fuse blown before you plugged in the new radio-sounds like its fried.
