Well, you could check my profile, and you can very well see that i dont drive yet...

Well, I have been looking at body kits for various cars, and am loving the way the Supra looks with some of the Bomex kits.

Anyhow, I was looking at getting a 94 Supra...something to work on for the future, make it all purty and such...and was wondering, for about how much could I pick one up used?

Also, would this be a reliable car? Fuel efficient wise, ect... something that wouldnt break down.

Oh, and the forums look great..cant wait to talk to some of you...

Used, about 30K for a bone stock TT model, slightly less for an n/a. New, well you'll have to find the time machine with marty and doc and go back a few years, then it'll cost you over 30K. It is a very reliable car, fuel efficiency is all relitive, for instance I have no problem having to fill up the tank every few days because I have a heavy foot sometimes. How ever being a high HP sports car it will eventually break down, and it will cost alot of money to fix. So all that being said, unless you have a very well paying job, no offence, I don't see you owning one anytime soon or being able to maintain it. Something to look foward to though, maybe one day you will get one. Hopefully you'll see the car for what it is and realize it doesn't need a tacky body kit, leave those to the ricers. Welcome to the forums anyway, keep saving the pennies and reading all you can.

Eeech...quite a setback...but well worth it :).

I love the look of the car...right now a friend and I are scratching pennies and dimes to attempt to nab an old Del Sol to play around with...again, great design, but I love body kits..some of them look so good...

If you still want a supra shoot for an mk3. they're not too bad, I got a friend right now sellin his 91 for $5100. Its got a jdm rebuilt engine w/ 35k and a new radio/ speaker system. its not turbo tho... but still a great project car.

So you know, $5100 is alot of money for a 91 n/a even if it is in good condition with a jdm 7m-ge. Please do not "settle" for an MK3 because you won't appreciate the car and will only end up trashing it for someone in the future.

dragull the supra is the way to go but as you said your barely old enough to drive so i think you buy and mk3 turbo wich shouldnt be more than 5k car is very good decent horsepower a good car to learn in or even a del sol theirs millions of performance parts and ar not to expensive so for now i suggest you not aim so high learn everything that you can (and no body kits are not performance parts) and then buy the mk4 tt but thats just my suggestion.btw i payed 23k for my supra twin turbo with 56k miles-stock
