i absolutly love it . i have a question for you unrelated to this car, my dad and i have been using duplicolor paints for years on our models and we've always gotten perfect paint jobs, tis past week i painted a 64 impala duplicolor red and it leaves a tincy bit of orange peel and it flashed a lil bit around the edge of the roof and it did it o the hood too. what is going on why is this happening ,could it be just the red paint?

Nice. Like the vice grips especially. Just what a rat rod is supposed to be, how about some more info and pics on the other black one?

Beautiful! Just great, I adore it and it's buddy. Is there a thread about it that I missed somewhere? They're both great. I love the detail on the '32... just amazing, really.

86 SR5 and willimo: The truck is a '37 Ford, chopped, channeled, and the frame is Z'd in the rear. It has a flattie V8 with ardun heads. Everything on the truck came from the kit, except the motor!! The '32 is a Ford highboy. Also channeled, Z'd. If you go to your search engine, type in "rat-rods", you will find all sorts of these type cars/trucks. Thanks for the interest in my builds. Here are some pics of the '37=

Dennis, your models don't have to be the same as everyone else's your work is great and speaks for itself. I like a variety of cars, as you've noticed in my models.

IMO Ratrods aren't very good considering what they could become with a chrome 392 hemi and some schmick paint, suicide doors and big chrome wheels (typical modern hotrod style). But I do admit some of them look so junky they just look too cool!
You could make a Nostalgia drag diorama with all your Rats and Rods man, very nice!

I agree, you'd better even this out with a deep purple rod with a mountain of injected, modern chrome thrust through the hood.

just kidding! Rats are awesome in their own rights.
