New Project Car

Ok. Time for the project car of the century. You ready? '85 Ford LTD. Yes. I said it. We just have one laying around (Don't ask) and have decided that it needs to be a drag car. This means first off, a new engine. We're thinking 5.0 Liter crate engine because there are so many performance parts for the Mustang engine. I'll post more info as we decide what we're going to do with it. Also I'd like all the info I can get on switching its drivetrain from front to rear wheel and if that's even possible (Don't worry about the money aspect... We'll save up for that part.) I hope you people don't think I'm totally cracked out now :screwy:

If its going to be a drag car then you're probably thinking about supercharging or turboing it, right? It wouldn't be too bad. People around here have 9 second station wagons. Just depends on whats inside.

Ok. Update. Decision has been made for a supercharger and small Nitrous shot. Not sure what brand but the Nos will probably be Edelbrock. We also have an old Eagle Summit that we're considering sleepering. Good to have so many people who don't sell their old cars.
