There is a classic (somewhat) example of "fight or flight"...any person with half a heart and an ounce of decency would have ran like hell to make sure everyone was okay!! I wanna kick him in the mouth!!

Absolutely appalling. And then the anchor says "our reporter held up pretty well". Yes, that's exactly where our concerns should be, with your reporter :disappoin

Hes like, "the people going in this direction going 50mhp dont have to stop, but these people do..." and in the background the idiot in the red car rolls through the stop and gets creamed.
If your not sure if cars are comming, why does it hurt to wait 2 seconds?

I was under the impression the red car thought it was a 4 way stop.
As for the reporters, a lack of humanity in all of them. Straight to the 9th level

No matter how many stops, the car never even stopped... kept on rollin until the last second when they finally decided to speed up.

Geez I just watched that and man it gave me a little spook to see the car get hit. That reporter was a dumbass for not helping the people who got into the accident. He just sat there and did nothing and your telling me that those reporters are paid over $100,000 a year the lowest for just saying stuff to us? God I hate the news media.

Both the truck and car stopped and the camera man stood there and filmed the Truck while the Reporter Explained about the accident. It doesnt look to me like they were in any hurry to assist the crash victims. :dunno:

Has it occured to anyone that he may not know the first thing about trying to help them other then to dial 911 and get the EMTs out there?
The anchors in the newsroom acted like asses, but what were they supposed to do? Request for a cell phone?

Not act like asses would have been a good start, just think if the victims family was watching that; it pissed me off, i kept waiting to see the reporter go running to help the red car and he never did, prick.

if you watch closely when the car accellerates there's a camper van in the line of sight. when there was an accident outside my apartment is spain i ran out with my crowbar as soon as i saw it so we could lever the driver and passenger doors open to get the people out. the camera crew didn't do shit to help-wanker!
eversio11

It could have been worse - they could have run the footage of the car getting hit forward and reverse quickly with a cartoon 'crash' sound byte played over it.

Well the actual reporter with the camera crew was from a differnet News Chanel. they say that at the very begining. But he coulda went to them or something. And those news achors jokes, shit, its UPN what do you expect.

Yes i would be ready to run and help because i've done it already.I've been hit several times and every single time I went to check on the other person. Except once but that time I could barelly crawl out of the car let alone walk over.
And Yogs mentioned that he might have been qualified for help, however regardless you still need to go over asap to check on them. Its the humane thing to do. Even something as simple as moral support can make a tremendous impact.
