It's very simple kit, basically there were manufactured pretty long...70's or early 80's. I'm building one right now(see signature: orange Colt Galant). Mirror are molded together with body, and interior is 1 piece mean seat, dashboard were molded together with the floor pan. So it can put battery below... One word,"Suck!" But something a sucky model can make into a beauty too, it only take more time and patient.

Arii hardly makes any model kit themselves. They usually buy or lease some of the unused molds. And they're usually 10-20 years old, so you get what you expect. Arii kits aren't recommended to newbies, but are alright for intermediate and experienced modelers with proper body prep skills.

I bought a Gen I RX-7 to build a replica of my Dad's car, and it was missing a rear window. I searched and couldn't find any contact information of any kind for the company, so my LHS took it back. I waited a few more weeks and found an NIB Tamiya model for about the same price after shipping.
The Arii model was very simple, serviceable but not great.
