They will be something like: [email protected][1]. I use Windows NT in work and you will find your cookies in the following directory; C:\WINNT\Profiles\"your username"\Cookies
It will be different for Win95,98. Just do a search for the folder Cookies.

Is it something like this: bbuserid(number)www.automotiveforums.com/ ???

Is it a .txt file. If it is then that's your cookie.

It isn't really necessary to keep your cookie. I delete all my cookies ones every month or so and you just have to sign in again, you don't loose your username or something.

Maybe, but I´ll save them on a floppy disk anyways just to be sure. I´m known for messing up anything what has to do with computers!:silly2: :D

Normally you should remember you username and password. I change computers from time to time (school computers, home, library,...). These all work fine for me.

Didn't know how else to put it in English:D . Strange that your password doesn't work on your school computer.

School computers are often behind a firewall that blocks that kind of passwords :) SO nothing really to bother about.
