Brake Rotor Thickness??

Anyone know the minimum rotor thickness for the front rotors on a 98 Rodeo. I do not want to replace them if I don't have to but cannot find the information anywhere. I want to turn them before putting on new pads, if there is enough material left. Also thanks guys for the info on St. Charles Isuzu, their prices are right on, plus no shipping or tax!! Woo Hoo!!

Nevermind, I found it on Planetisuzu if anyone else wants to know it is 24.6mm on the front and 16.6 on the rear.

I am doing a rear brake service on my Rodeo right now. According to the service manual, the minimum thickness is supposed to be stamped on the rotor itself but I didn't see anything marked on mine. I had my rear rotors turned and bead blasted yesterday and I'm putting everything back together this afternoon. The pads were at about 50%. I went ahead and bought new ones anyway. The pads that I removed were the organic type, I was sold semi-metallic pads yesterday. The guy at the brake shop said that is what belongs on my year Rodeo.

I had a little trouble removing the rotor on the driver's side. I tried penetrating spray, loostening the adjuster on the parking brake and a little heat. Nothing worked until I beat on the rotor from behind with a rubber mallet. It had some rust on the hub which I will remove before installing the rotor.

I looked for it as well and saw nothing. Mine seem to measure in this range so I am going for it, I guess when I take them to have them turned they will tell me for sure but I am still thinking of having a couple on hand just in case. You can always take them back

I looked at the rotors more carefully a while ago and found marked in tiny print the minimum rotor dimension. It can almost be mistaken for rust pits. The marks are on the outward side of the rotor, along the circumference where the wheel lugs poke through.

Easy to miss, thats for sure.

Having trouble getting the parking brake adjustment set right, the adjusting wheel is trying to defy me.
