Hi Guys, I was talking to one of my friends, and he mentioned that Ford once made a 4 Door Mustang, possibly made in the early to mid seventies. I searched on the net and couldnt find anything about it. Has anyone even heard of this, or is my friend just talking out his ass? thanks.

maybe I should clarify my previous post, after talking to him about it and telling him I couldnt find anything about it, it was supposed ly a "concept" that never went to production.

I know what he's talking about. That was a long, long time ago when Lee Iacocca was kicking around the idea of a new Thunderbird/Mustang type car. But they were just brainstorming.
Mustangs have always had only two doors.

I've think I've seen them, I think they were pre-production or early(60's) prototypes. There also was a wagon type prototype made, I suppose you could call it a 3 door...

I can't find any pics of a 4dr, making me think I imagined it.
Here is another interesting 'stang prototype.
