I just got a new 2004 mustang but its a v6. it looks like a gt but it doesnt have the dual exhaust cut outs. I was wondering if I shuld get the normal cutout with 1 on the left and 1 on the right, should i get a cutout where both of them are side by side in the middle, or should i not cut out at all? and what are the best pipes for dual exhaust? I dont have vast knowledge on this, so if someone could tell me what do get that would look, sound, and return better performance out of my car, please help.

hey flow master, and get a body kit for your car. alot of the kits come with cut out in the rear witch the dual pipes will fit in (under), flowmaster for the 99-04 v6 mustangs, its a cat back system, dont go anything else. everytime i see someone post what exhaust to get, i tell them flows. listen to me and if anyone has them on the v6, let us know what you think

if the pipes are to big you will lose power and back persure. i had more power with stock exhaust. now i know what i did wrong and i have to live with it b.c i dont have case to waste on anyother exhaust system. you need 2 1/4 pipes. alot are 2 1/2 and they are to big.
