i want to replace my 2.0 si in my 86 w/ an h22a
my questions are , will it fit w/ out needing new motor mounts, what tranny will i need, and because of the vtech will i have to redo my suspension?

you'll need new motor mounts. you'll need the H22a tranny and not quite sure the correlation you make between VTEC and your suspension. but to answer your question, no you will not necessarily need to redo your suspension because of vtec. :screwy:

i doubt it would be that much heavier than the 2.0, and depending on where you get the vtec from, it might come with half of the new engine mounts anyway, so you could fabricate the other half yourself. Dont forget that you need the cpu and whatnot aswell. I also think that the h23 tranny will fit a h22a, so that might be a cheaper route.

yeah its worth shipping there, i can ship it pretty cheap, and yeah its in fine shape, it had about 110k miles on it, worked great, no grinding or anything like that, didnt have any problems with it at all. The only thing is when i did my swap, i took off a couple parts from it, one was a boot covering the hydraulic clutch piston, that moves the fork, Im sure u can pick up one cheap, and actually thats really about it. Let me know if you're interested.
