Hey Everyone, I have a lot of coolant resisdue on my engine/compartment for a failed water pump, my question is: is it ok to just pressure wash the whole engine, is there anything that i should not get wet and what is a good cleaner to use? oh by the way it's a 99' gp se. thanks

I would just use a garden hose, the high pressure can cut hoses and wiring. Just run water over the engine, keeping it out of the throttle body and ignition module.

I pressure washed my engine, it was a 307 from my 73 nova, but it was out of the car. The pressure washer did NOT cut the wires, just make sure you dont get water into the engine (dont take it apart before you wash)

Ive always washed my engine off at a high pressure car wash and have never had any problems with the GP.I bought it at year end close out in 98 and it always gets a complete bath from head to toe :wink:Only thing I cover is the top of the MSP cai, other then that I just spray away.

Now it's a different story back when cars had distributors
