headers

i have a friend who is willing to sell me a set of new jba headers for half of the price new. the only problem is that my truck has an air injection system and his doesn't. is there any way i can get around this? any info would be appreciated. thanks

How about a wee little bit more info....like the years of the trucks and anything else you may think describes what you are talking about.

You install the right headers for your truck or you don't install them at all.

You can't just rig them up.

my truck is a 2001 4wd and his is a 1999 2wd. jba.com lists them as the same but other people i have talked to say that because mine has air injection and his doesn't that this makes them incompatible.

I do believe there are kits out there for the air junk. Either that or ask a exhaust shop, I think its just drilling a hole and taping it with the right mounting parts. No promises though.
