93 lum euro 3.4 fast cold idle

93 lumina euro 3.4 on cold start- up wants to idle above 2000 rpm's until warm, than idle's down. Have replaced fast idle control did not help. any suggestions?

did you clean the IAC motor seat? and did you reset the computer so it will recognize the new part? If you did both of these, I would check for a sticky EGR valve next.

I cleaned seat with carb cleaner, by reset computer do you mean unhook batt. yes. New problem, check engine ligtht, came on, map sensor. Replaced sensor, reset computer. now on occation I get a vac howl around the egr. when you put pressure on in the noise changes. Also carb cleaner will bubble at the base, but does not change rpm's
