Im still new at working whith cars so dont get mad.
I have a 90 eclipse gs , and im tryin to install some glow pedals.
The problem is i dont exacly know what wires im suppose to hook
them up to. Im almost sure that i need to hok up it to 12v and ground
under the dash but i dont know what wires they are. Need help.

well, you can tap into your cig lighter on your dash, then your peddles would dim with the rest of your car. any remote power would work though. and im sure you have some basic understanding of how ground wires work. look and vfaq for boost gauge install, and connect it the same way

just becaust the lighter doesn't work does not mean the wires are not 'hot' ... besides you just may need to clean it out and reconnect the wires to the lighter.

re-post and check in the Honda forum. those guy's have a bit more knowledge about glow stuff than we do :)

lol. if i were ever going to intall glow sticks, or bug atractors, i'd just wire in a multi wire distributer, maybe a cheap 4 channel rockford for 30 bucks + wire so i wouldn't have to worry about stuff like that.

is there the fusebox under the dash in the drivers side of the 1gs? in my 2g i just took the power wire and jammed it up with one of the fuses on my reverse glow gauges.. i found a screw to ground it with... i forgot wich fuse i used but whatever it is they come on and stay on when i turn it on and go out when i turn it off and well thats good enough for me...

i had to do that when i first got my glow gauges because i couldn't find a good source. Then i saw Vince's Car-Domain( ;) thanks Boosted), and now it works like it should.

Speaking of electrical stuff... Out of everything that could cause a spark... I replaced one of my dome lights, and when i touched it to the metal in the dome, it sparked in there, and my radio, my lights, and 2 or 3 other things went dead. I noticed i left the switch for the bulb on. I shut it off, put the bulb in, replaced all the fuses i blew, and that was that. A little tidbit for those who haven't had too much electrical experience... If this can happen with a simple light bulb, just imagine what you can do if you touch two wires that shouldn't be touching.
