Not sure why this happens, but it's happening more and more frequently as time goes by.
When I'm stopped (at a stop sign/light) as soon as i press down on the gas to accelerate, the little red handbrake light comes on. (it looks like this > (!) )
it comes on accompanied by a little dinging sound.. and the whole process takes about a second. and wont come back until the next dead stop (light/stop)
any help would be great, nothing in the manual about this

Hi, it's coming on because your brake fluid level is probably low. As soon as you take off the fluid moves to the back of the master cylinder and the switch detects low fluid and turns the warning light on. See this all day everyday at work. Either that or you dropped a coin down the side and it touches the park brake switch when you accelerate. Seen that one too. HTH Mike.

i know what to do if it's case 'A' (brake fluid) but i don't want to rule out the possibility of case 'B' (the coin).. how would i go about this if case 'B' is the culprit..?
thanks for your help
