I have an extensive library of original F1 articles and books that feature the F1. I also have a decent F1 diecast collection - mostly 1/18th scales, but a few 1/43rds and other scales including a blue 1/12th scale. I also have some nice posters and a frameable piece of artwork done in lithograph of the Clinic Model from one of Colin Curwood's original 'quarry' photos. The print is numbered and signed by Murray, Stevens and Curwood. I have a few other things like stickers and pins and such. I'm still missing the ultimate piece of my collection, which would be a real McLaren F1. ;)

I don't have very much official literature unfortunately. The prices that it sells for on Ebay are usually well beyond what I consider reasonable. There are a large group of brochure collectors out there who care just enough about the F1 to want the 'Launch Brochure' in their own collection. I'll keep looking for an inexpensive copy I guess.

I also have

1/43 orange prototype lm (number 1098/1500)
1/43 franck muller / giroix racing
1/43 tuiles / larbriere
1/43 blue streetcar x2
1/43 No.39 gulf longtail
many other minichamps including double carrera gt set, and a few other of my fave motors.....

more to come, some of which are in the post, that i have recently purchased from overseas contacts.

will post another once i recieve some more items.

I am willing to buy/trade anything for almost anything to do with the mclaren f1/gtr/lm.

so anyone who has anything let me know asap. thanks

Thorst seems to be mostly a diecast guy - but he might have other stuff as well.

Here's a small sampling of his 1/18th scale UT McLaren F1 collection:

Here's a shot he sent of some of his 1/12th scales - this one makes me just a little jealous. ;)

Well, I have one example of what seemes to be the rarest original die-cast McLaren of all time..... :naughty:

I have a silver 1/18 UT McLaren XP1LM with original WEST livery from UT!
It has a sligthly different interior than the released Ut's and I have no clue on the production numbers of these, but according to my sources they should be below 20.
I have only seen one similar in all my years of collecting Mc's!

And Peloton, YES I do have some other stuff I haven't shared yet :iceslolan :naughty: :iceslolan

Not only die-casts.......

That's fine man - no need to show all your cards here. However, if I ever find out you own a real McLaren F1, I'm hopping on a plane to Norway and slapping you upside the head with the wheel wrench that's included in the rolling Facom tool kit. :lol2:
