95 eclipse GS problem

hey - i have a 95 eclipse gs, and it was running fine until a week or so ago. what is happening is when i give it gas under 2500rpm it shudders, like the fuel is cutting out or something....... i checked and the plug wires are on, i even ran a bottle of fuel injector cleaner through it, nothing's helping. i was wondering if anybody had any thoughts. thanks!

I had the same problem with my old eclipse which was a 97 rs. What it was, I had ran it hard for a long time. My eclipse ended up needing a tune up. I left it with my familys mechanic and then he took it apart and did w/e he needed to do to it. I know your problem my car would shudder and hesitate when i was leaving stop signs or coming from a stop. It would go fine at higher speeds. But no, i would take it to a mechanic to get it fixed.

do a basic tune up. spark plugs, spark plug wires, air filter, fuel filter, clean the throttle body. try that stuff and it should fix it
