Someone help fast

Hey I have a 94 Cavalier with 165k on it. Everything was working fine until one day I put the key in the ignition and it wouldnt turn. Tried everything .. jiggling steering wheel, key, pressing brake. etc. It will not turn.. the car also will not come out of park. Someone please give me advice on what I need to do, or replace to make my car start again. Any help would be great. Thanks

If the key won't turn at all, 99% chance its the steering wheel lock. Key turning it side to side as much as you can, and it should go.

I've been turning the steering wheel and stuff and moving it all around and the key still won't turn. what's wrong.

I have a 1993 Cavalier and it did the same thing. It was because of how I had the wheels turned and it made the steering wheel lock. All I had to do was turn the key hard and it finally went.

The key wouldn't turn even when the steering wheel wasn't locked. What should I do.. someone give me some advice . :)

dude.. try some wd-40 :-/ i mean what can it hurt

already tried WD40 ... no luck. anyone else?
