2nd gear rubber in automatic

I have a '94 Thunderbird LX with a 4.6 liter V8. I bought the car second hand with a little over 100,000 miles. If I put the shifter in low one and ease on the power so I don't spin( I don't have posi or limited slip) and then shift to 2nd around 4500 rpm's I get good rubber in 2nd. Would it be safe to say that the transmission has been rebuilt or had a shift kit put in or both. Or maybe it is normal I'm not sure but these cars are big and heavy and second gear rubber was very impressive to me but tell me if anybody thinks the transmission is original or not thanks for any help. There is also a transmission cooler on this car. Do they come with them stock. Thanks again. '94 Blackbird

Sounds like it has had some work done to it.

I don't remember any tbird coming with an external trans cooler aside from the plumbing to the radiator/trans cooler unit.
