intake and head swap

ok i have a gen 1 rex. i want to know if i can do a intake and head swap on it so i can go injected. i know i need the wire harness and a fuel pump to make it ork but is there a head that will bolt to the gen 1 rex mtr that i can run injected?i was thinking going this route might be cheaper then full mtr swap and i can get parts from local salvage yards to do my swap.

you can, but then you need and ECU designed for that engine and all this other crap....youd be better off just getting a whole new motor that is more horsepower friendly....
