390 Zcode (merc) to 67 mustang

Hello out there...new rookie here.
I have a 1965 Merc Z code 4Barrel and wonder what I might be getting into by trying to swap it into a 67 mustang convertible. Is it the same motor as the S code (390 4v) mustang...at least on the outside? See any major difficulties...remember I'm fairly green but want to learn.
