I juust got my babay, MAN IS IT NICE!

just wanted to let everyone know i picked up a 94 RS wiht I/H/E, strut bar, 17" tantrums, lowered like 3 or so it looks, 5 speed, altezzas, andys combat front bumper, whit with black int. bear perfect int. cd amp subs, power woiindows and AC, it is so nice and man, it is he!!a fast to what i was expecting. It is going to smoke my froiends civic EX with intake. there is a place where we just test to se hown fat the car gets from sign to sign from a stop, I have correct O.D tires and got to 94, my firend has too dsmall tires(so speedoi says faster than reality) and i got his car to 95, which is fatsre but not if hee had the correct O.D. tires. and i am a better driver he got his car to 92 only. p[lus in a top sped id waste him, tokk me 3+ seconds to get his car from 100-105 and i was alone and it was on a slight down hill. on a flat freeway woiht a passenegr in my car I got from like 110-115 in under 2 secoinds, which i know i was higher in the powerband than him when i was at this speed but i doubt that that much sped would vary it omre than a secoind.

planned mods are

welll, nopt engoine mods, a few bu mostly show

anyways, red underbodies, reed emblemds remove the acutra and integra, red calipers, brembo cross drilled slotted rotors, momoo crystal knob, short shifetr, white boots, ingoiglo guages, indigol red pedals, fog lights, em tru power pulleys (system is small), I am just gonna replace the plugs and stuff, mayeb some better witres and like a hotter spark, and I went froim regular to premium aftre testoing doso it will be a bit better, plus im gonna try that ECU reset thihng to se if it helps at all, i read that it makes your enfingine relearn everything with the new mods and it makes it even fastr a bit, and i doubt the last oiowner did this


any toher mods for performance that dont require engine pull besides nos, maybe a zex 55 dry, and not a intrake manifold or big bnore throtle boy because 350+ bucks dont sound good for 5 HP
but 600 for 55 does

The RS is basically the LS motor with just some things missing from the interior and other parts.

yeah, i thought about SC, but it is 2995 for the JRSC and I dont know where to get a cheaper one, I can buy a new turbo and like a used manifold and IC and everytythign and maybe get it set up for 2200 but then there is no mobney for anything else, alls i have is 2200 and after that all of muy money goes into this pricey insurance. Can you believe it is cheaper for me top have 2 cars than one on my policy, i can have like a 81 accord hatch or somehting and pay like 80 a month and have my integra ful coverage for 52 a month for 133 a month or i can spend like 180 on just the integra, it is rediculous. but yeah, I knew that the rs was the dstripped LS but i thoujght RS eevn came witrh manual windws/mirrors, and no AC

Yea the lowest I have seen the JRSC lately is for $2600. And as for Turbo, don't forgt about the timer, blow off valve, etc., etc. that you need along with the Turbo/Manifold...not to mention installment.

As for the insurance, they just like to rip us off. My Insurance was $3,000 a year at first under my fathers plan...then it dropped a little bit once they moved out of the Washington DC area down to Southern VA...then when my father put their brand new house on the same insureance plan, my car insurance went down a few hundred more dollars..funny how that works :rolleyes:

And as for the RS model:

RS: Regular Series. Available in both coupe and sedan. No sedan available in 1998. Model dropped in 1999. Equipped with the B18B1 DOHC engine putting out 142 HP and 127 ft-lbs. of torque. In 1997, power ratings dropped to 140HP and 124 ft-lbs. of torque. As always, the stripped down model. Standard features were a cassette player, rear window defroster, and tilt steering wheel. Cassette player replaced with CD player in 1997.

The car looks sweet man, but one thing. The fenders and hood are a different color. It looks like the guy got in a wreck, and with the insurance money bought that front for it, and 2 stock fenders and a hood. Has it been wrecked?

not a wreck, i had this sa,me thing happen to my mustang, you know how bumpers are made out of flexibe rubber/urethane ot whatever, well on my car i ditrched it and the bumpr made it fine cu itflexes but the paint didnt so it chipped of the botom corner, well, she pulled up too far against a parking stop and it pushed the bumper back and it cracked the p[aint, she had a friend paint it,he did do an OK job, much better thsan it was when i first saw the car chipped up. anyways, you dont notivce the color difference at all unless it is on the pics, I took them and looked at them and alsmost didnt even put up the pics where you see it so i didnt hear about it but i figured oh well, I knwo what it looks like live, lol.

I just looked again and forgot to mention he had to also fix a dent in the right front fender and he painted both fenders and the bumper, I wonder ewhy the paint dont maytch on fender and bumper either, it was the same paint, must be they had different colored primer or soemthing. oh well, cant notice it on my end.

Reasons why they don't match.
1. Didn't use the same primer
2. Didn't use clear coat
3. its a 94...the paint does fade(I repainted the front end of my car and there is a TAD difference, and mines a 93)
4. Didn't go to a paint shop and have it matched, or they just took the universal white for an integra.

There are more, but I am drawing a blank...the reason why i know this is because i have done it before :)
