need advice

I have a 04 Audi a4 1.8tq 6sp Ultra pkg w/GIAC chip I want to change my turbo I have k03 know, what turbo should I get, your advice will be appreciated ....thank you...

just askin whats wrong with the factory turbo i drove an A4 and thought the factory turbo was great

so whats wrong with it? and why do you want to change

dont really have many choices with teh b6 at the moment.. mostly b/c of programming issues..

well you cant get a turbocharger but you can get a good supercharger

do they even make a k04 for the newer models?

yeah i know i can get a really good one, but it will set me back nearly what i paid for the car itself. but if i ever get the money, ohhh buddy, watch out.

dont know to much about turbos but cant you get a ko4 turbo that seems to be a big turbo upgarde

not 'big' but popular...pretty much the only choice for the b6's b/c of programming...

yea i meant popular but on ebay ko4 turbos are cheap

now that k04's are back in stock..you can get tehm new for like just under $800... not sure what programming is out there...

This is a brand new car! You will void the manufacturer warranty by modification. I thought usually people will modify an older Audi.

if you buy the k04 try neuspeed out they seem to have a good deaal of experience with it and they porlly sell a program for it separately however if you do buy the k04 and u in cali its not carb legal, in my opinion your better off with a good intercooler and boosting the stock k03 up, its a small turbo but potnt none the less

They dont make the supercharger for the 2.8 12V only the 30V.

yeah dude that guy. the company doesnt own itself does it? the guy that owns it.

in one case they sent a guy a SC that didnt fit at all in most cases they just dont send anything... ask this question at audiforums.com if you dont beleive me.
