Cruise Control

I just got a '92 Lude and my cruise control doesn't work. I push the button on the dash and then I pushed the SET/decel button on the steering wheel. The green light behind the plexi-glass thing goes on but when I let off the gas it just slows as if I just let off the gas. I checked the fuse inside and it was fine. What could be the problem.

Man i have the same problem i don't think you really care sorry that i can help. The same thing happens to me i even looked under the hood for any connections or vacum hoses off. Everthing seems to be conected. But you can check that yourself its on the left side of the car under the hood. That may be your problem Good luck. Also any help would be great thanks

replace the whole underhood mechanisism. they go bad. shouldn't cost you more than 65 bucks from a salvage yard.
