This Car = 1990 VW Passat 4cyl. 16v
This car runs great, but it needs a couple of things to be trusted as a daily driver. First, it has an intermittent electrical problem that kills the spark to the engine after it warms up. It doesn’t do it all the time, but it could leave you stranded if not looked into. It was thought that it was the coil, but the problem persisted after replacing it, so I am not sure at this point what it is. I am tired of playing with it. PLEASE HELP

The car is known for trouble at the electrical connector to the distributor. Try cleaning the pins & applying terminal grease. If the connector is cracked you have to replace the whole distributor.
