A Porsche is a Porsche, of course, of course, unless it's a Cayenne.
Don't get me wrong, I like Cayenne's, but it is just not a true Porsche. It's great as a status symbol, but almost no Cayenne owner will ever go offroad in it.
There was a thing in Motor Trend or Road & Track that said they might make a Cayenne Pickup. That would not be a good thing. Porsche shouldn't have caved into the SUV market, but it did, and looks pretty good. But I would hate it if they caved into the luxury pickup segment.
If they did, it would most likely be made in conjunction with VW's ACC concept.

That would be auwful! The Cayenne is not super modle, and with competition from the Range Rover and X5, who are they trying to kid. I realise that they are very fast, the Turbo especially, but we have an X5 4.8iS, and its performance matches that of the cayenne, and in my oppinion, its easier on the eyes.

The cayenne also brought back the old partnership of VW, not always the best thing, but never bad.
