Anyone know which wire to tape into for lighted running boards? I want the lights to come on when you unlock doors. this is for a 2004 LT.

Hello...
Did you ever find the answer to your question? No other replies here, but thought perhaps you found the answer somewhere else...
I have the same interest. I was considering adding some LED lights to my factory running boards. Two or three shining out, and two or three shining down, on each side of the truck. I also want them to turn on with the interior lights and perimeter lights, when you unlock the doors. I am not sure what wire to tap into...
Thanks!

I ordered the lighted running boards from runningboardfactroy.com and installed them. I hooked up the light source to the interior lights in the headliner. This allows the runniong board lights to come on when I unlock the doors with my remote or if I open the door. Looks pretty cool because they slowly dim just like the interior lights. I ran the wire up the A Pillar on the drivers side and connected it to the drivers side light, I think it was an orange wire that I connected to. I used a relay to connect them just so that I wouldn't burn out anything on accident. With all the DataBus you have to be very carefull.
