Trying to get my site back up after the server died and I lost all my pictures :(
I thought I would take some time out of taking pictures again to work on this kit.
This is the Revell Civic hatchback with the SAS body kit.
Door handles and moldings removed.
Enjoy! More to come soon.

Moving forward the kit was primed sanded and was ready for a coat of Duplicolor Silver Frost.
Tamiya clear orange was then shot in about 12 very thin coats.
Building layer by layer on the front of the car.
Enjoy.

Its looking great, i like the effect of the clear orange over the Frost Silver. Are you Airbrushing it on or is that the new Tamiya Spray can?
EDIT: I just saw the Airbrush next to it. Therefore i assume it was airbrushed; Inductive reasoning :screwy:

is the orange turning into a flame job possibly or just a fade job?... anyways, the color combo looks awesome. Looks like the Burnt orange in the Ford F-150's...very cool color IMO. Keep it up.

It's a fade, the reflections make it look like flames in the pictures.
Thanks.
I saw a 1:1 with this look and loved it!
Thanks to SAS for such great products that keep me busy!!
More updates coming soon.

The engine is completed.
The hood is going to have hood pins to hold it on.
Carbon fiber on the hood is almost complete.
What kind of seats should I use?
Thanks for looking.
