1- with a turbo you do not have headers, is that correct?
2-turbo or supercharger on a 2002 civic, your opinion (its my car i cant help it its what the parents bought so no disses please)
3-spoon engines, endurance more that the 1/4 mile, right?
thanks guys

1-with a turbo u cant put conventional n/a headers on, u will have what some call a "turbo header" that has a spot to bolt onto to feed the turbine. it should come in a turbo kit.
2-in my opinion, hondas are better suited to supercharging, as they have little low end power. but either one would work great, depends really on personal taste. supercharger will be less complicated to install, and u can still use conventional headers. plus u wont get bit by the "boost bug" and crank it up too high like u might with the turbo.
3-spoon engines, nice but WAAAY overpriced, u could build an identical engine for much less. but yes they are made for endurance racing and road racing, therefore have more concentration on reliability, good smooth power curve, and good throttle response than they have been built for max hp.

spoon engines are made by a japanese company called spoon sports. hence the name "spoon" engine. they are made almost entirely of forged aluminum and all the moving parts in them are titanium. they put something like 250hp to the wheels naturally aspirated and still very reliable. good engines but like i said overpriced. when i checked into one for my civic i used to have it was $6000 just for the motor, then u gotta pay shipping.

s/c has a blow off...
there are tons of turbo hondas compared to s/c.
