A/C or something?

The fan motor was making a funny noise (like a bad bearing or motor on all settings) then quit working on anything but high. Just before replacing the fan motor, I would hear this LOUD humming vibration(completely different and in addition to the fan noise) from under the glovebox. I mean this sounds like a cement truck with loud brakes making a stop. I replaced the fan motor, but it still wont work on anything but high and it sounds fine, however the loud humming is still there. The A/C is cold and I don't hear this LOUD noise when I have it set to vent or heat. This loud noise isn't constant. It starts when I slow down or turn, not under acceleration. When it starts, if I move the selector to vent then back, it stops until a few minutes later. Very annoying but at least its cold for now. Any ideas?

I believe there is a control module or some type of relay for the fan motor... not too sure but an auto parts place could tell you. The squealing noise may not be inside at all but may actually be the bearings or another problem with the A/C compressor but you hear it under the glove box because that is where the fan inlet is
