ok can anyone tell me why the oil pressure guage in the 3000gt would run low or high? B/C yesterday it said it was low while i was driving at about 55mph... so i stopped to put a quart of oil ... now it runs to the high pressure line.... but this morning when i checkd my oil... the oil went past the second notch ... so does this mean i add'd to much ? and what up with the pressure guage?

Yeah, I think you added too much oil....

Well, I'd say that I wouldn't use the pressure guage to signal when u need more oil. I notice that I drive sometimes with my pressure lower than half and other times with it over half. There's probably more factors that play into it then just how much oil is in there. I honestly don't worry about my oil pressure because it seems unreliable anyway, kind of like the stock turbo guage. If the car seems to be running fine and no idling issues, noise, etc...I'd not worry about it too much.

Well the oil pressure gauge will move quite a bit as you drive and change speeds and if you are boosting or not. Don't use it to check your oil level...you have a dipstick for that. If you are getting the oil pressure gauge maxed out, then you definantly added too much oil.
