won't start

:banghead: Hi can someone please help,I have a 89 Ford escort Gt1.9 ,went down to get hair cut and car did fine,went to go home and the car just died pretty as you please,It will turn over but i'm not getting any fire to the coil, icm is ok,hope someone can help please :banghead:

Check the timing belt! May have broken while you were driving. If it is you will need to do a compression check to make sure you didn't bend any valves.

:banghead: Thanks GTPDad,we going to check the belt today,in my last post i made a mistake and i'm getting fire to the coil but none out of it, I will post the results later, would That explain where some of the power had gone?thanks for answering so quick.
