My 94' Chrysler LHs keep cutting off

I recently purchased a 94' Lhs from a private owner. It was running ok until I took it to have an oil change. I have several problems that one of you can help me in solving. I really don't know a heck of alot about cars so whatever assistace you guys can help me with will be greatly apreciated!

1. It keeps cutting off on me ( To have a diagnostic done it will cost me $150.00) a bit much for not solving a problem.
2. The only indicator light that comes on is the oil light, whenever it does stall.
3. The lights sometime shift from D to 3 to L, quickly and the the entire panel is lit up PRND3L.
4. I am having he same problem with the fuel guage that someone else has had with it just plain old going crazy when it reaches about half tank.
5. The CD player isn't working and their is a wire lose that goes to the panel in the trunk can that be the source of that problem?

Does the Oil Light come on before the engine stalls or after? If you want to check codes you can do it yourself, put the key in the ignition and rapidly turn it ON, OFF, ON, OFF, ON then observe the CHECK ENGINE light, the light will stay on for about 5 seconds then go out for a second or so then start flashing a 2 digit code, what you do is count the flashes intil it stops for a second or so and that is the first digit of a code, then it will start flashing again and you count until it stops again, that will be the second digit of the code, the light will pause again then start flashing again to give you the first digit of the next code if one is stored and the process continues untill all codes are "flashed" out. If you get a 5 - 5 code, that means "End of message" and the light will quit flashing after that code is displayed. If you miss any or want to double check the codes you get, simply shut the key off, wait about a minute or two and do the key on and off routine again.

No codes start or end with a zero thus there are no single digit codes, they can be any number from 1-7 on both digits

Ok, from the codes you gave here is what the book says,

#11 - "No crank reference signal detected during engine cranking. Check the circuit between the crankshaft position sensor and the PCM." You might have a possible crank sensor wiring problem or a bad crank sensor which will cause the stalling problem you have described..

#12 - "Problem with battery connection. Direct battery input to controller disconnected within the last 50 ignition key-on cycles." This usually comes up if the battery was disconnected for servicing.

#33 - "Air conditioning clutch relay circuit. An open or shorted condition detected in the compressor clutch relay circuit." You may have a bad relay in the power distribution box, or A/C system may be low on refrigerant, or bad compressor.

#34 - "Open or shorted condition detected in the speed control vacuum or vent solenoid circuits." If your cruise control does not function this is why.

There is a big wiring harness that goes from the PCM to the engine and transmission on the passenger side of the engine bay which also is where your cruise control solenoids are and I believe the crank sensor too. If memory serves me correctly, there might have been a recall on the 93-94 LH cars for that harness because of possible rubbing against the tie rod on the passenger side. You may want to check with a dealer and supply them your VIN number to see if that recall affected your car and whether or not the service for that recall was performed on the vehicle.

Thanks for your advice ...Could # 11 be fixed by replacing the sensor?
I have read a lot of postings from ppl that were having similar problems and most of them say that the problem was rectified when the cam sensor was replaced or cleaned. I have had the car for like two or three months ... that problem just started about two weeks ago. I will definantly check on those recalls too. I have read a bit on those. My cruise control was working. I did notice that was working about two weeks ago while I was on the highway. I am not at all mechanically inclined ( Not as far as car go) But If you can offer any advice as to what I should do it will be appreciated. I have been tinkering around under the hood, Hope I didn't cause any of these problems myself.

Had the same problem with my 93 concorde. Turned out to be the crank position sensor
