transmission swap

Hello, nice forum
I have a 93 ranger 3.0 v6 and was thinking of doing a manual to auto trans swap. Would it be worth the trouble, and if so where might I get the info on what I need to do the swap? I love my truck and want to keep it, but just tired of the clutch.

I don't know much but I learned that you need to re-register and get a new EPA sticker or something like that to change the transmission type. I re-built A/T might cost $1,100 and only last 40,000 miles like might 1990.
