Acrylics are usually used for engines and interiors and such. There too weak for body painting in my opinion. Enamels are mainly used for bodies and dry very shiny.

Don't know where you came up with that.:screwy:
Lacquers are better for bodies, and any paint can be brought up to an equal shine, it just takes some know-how.

I know that lacquers are better. They're my favorite actually. But I see alot of people who use enamels on bodies. Acrylics can be brought up to a shine, but when I polish it, I get alot of primer spots. I think I'm using the wrong compound though.

Dont know about you guys, but i never had comparable shine of using acrylic to lacquers..
