aftermarket head suggestions???

I think I have a cracked head(s) on an LT1. I dont want to spend alot of money (within reason for a set of heads). I found a set a of Edelbrocks for $519 a head in Jegs. Any suggestions?

Why do you think your heads are cracked

those head are not much better than stock, meaning thay do not make any more HP... Find a set on eBay for $250.00 and up but do not pay more than $350 for them... You could have them ported and polished for the same amount...
but I agree with 97SlvrBullet, why do you think they are cracked??? The Head gasket would more than likely go first...

To be honest with you, I dont know that my heads are cracked. But I got a few hundred $$ to dump in the car and a "machanic" friend willing to do a little engine work on it for trade.* I'm pretty sure (with you guy's help) that my h-gaskets are blown, so the heads have to be pulled anyway. So why not throw on some better ones, right? If the stock ones are good, maybe I can sell them.

*I have an 89 Honda Civic hatch he wants pretty bad.
