Brights wont turn off

Was driving my boyfriend's 1991 Firebird one evening and I turned the brights on, now they won't turn off. Every time you turn the lights on, the brights are on. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be appreciated. Thanks.

Switch probably went bad. When pulling the handle like you were going to turn them off try wiggling the handle. Sometimes it will work. Other than that you'll probably have to have it changed.

Well, the jiggling didn't work. Guess I'll have to take it to a shop to have the switch replaced. Thanks for the advice.
