Front-end rock chip protection

I noticed many of you have very nice, new G20's (unlike my 100,000+ mile '94 G20t). Even though my car is older, I got a product called StonGard to protect the front. It is a thick, clear adhesive that bonds to the headlights, foglights & leading edge of hood to prevent rock damage. I have no relation to the company, but got this for my previous GTI after replacing the $$$$$ quad healight system for a princely sum. It seems spendy, but decided it would be cheaper than replacing lights and respraying the pearl paint in a few years. See www.stongard.com for info.
