Hey everyone  New to this forum; I normally build plastic models, but have been really lacking in time lately in time to build ever since school started. I still want to do something so that I don't fall into a slump, so I decided that I just want to re paint a diecast. I've read the FAQs and Tuorials, but still have a question, regarding CSC and stripping paint. CSC is commonly used to strip paint on plastic models, but I've never seen it used on diecast. It's in the paint stripping FAQ, but I'm assuming that it's only for stripping the plastic parts. Will it work on diecast? Sorry for the long post, and thanks for the help in advance. Hope to be around this forum a little more.

Should work. Note that stripping diecasts does take longer than stripping plastics.

Thats assuming you use brake fluid, I use actual paint stripper which takes about 30 seconds to finish.
