From the minute I start the car the transmission makes this very suttle clicking sound. It's easy to ignore when just driving around but in the garage its amplified and obviously there. Also, I don't know if this is the same problem, but around 100-120 mph the clicking becomes extreemly rapid and loud, and the shifter literally shakes violently and uncontrollably until I get the car down below 90mph again. Note: putting the clutch in / putting it in neutral does NOT stop the vibration.

with the car stopped, does the "trans" noise cease with the clutch depressed???

it doesnt cease, its still audible, but far louder when accelorating or changing gears... and ridiculous loud at speeds of 100+, causing violent shaking that does not cease in neutral or with the clutch depressed... weird.

If the noise continues @ 0 mph with the clutch disengaged it's not coming from the transmission. Have you looked at the engine fan ? ? ?

its definately coming from the transmission, at 100mph+ i can feel the trans grinded, enganged or disengaged, in every gear.

uhmmm, ok but I think it's your driveline.....for what it's worth, my 2 cents...........I..........don't think it's your trans...........but best to you.
