Kept it pretty stock, and I personally think the rims might be a little to big, any comments good or bad are apreciated.

I think it looks awesome, the wheels are perfect for that sporty aggressive look. Are those the wheels from the kit or are they pegasus sleeves on there? Great Job

They're actually rims from an Aoshima Accord SiR Wagon, I didn't like how they looked on the accord and REALLY didn't like any of the rims that came with the civic, so I chopped them down to fit the tires from the civic kit.

I like nice clean, simple tuners like this. The color and rims look great on it, they fit the rear better than any other one I've seen...all the others I've seen so far are afflicted by Revell's too-narrow rear track setup on the Civic. Nice job! :sunglasse

Nice spoiler, reminds me of your 1:1. The model, not the wing. Great build, keep them coming.

wow, i love it! Great stuff! Yea its hard trying to make rims look to size on these Civics, all the rims look too big on them! But yours look great man seriously. I like polished lips on Civics :evillol: They look badazz.

Thanks everyone, the comments are greatly appreciated ( on both the model and the whip,) I'll post some engine shots of both tommorow. Like I said ones pretty much stock, but the other ones pretty much not. :evillol: I was actually pretty impressed with the quality of the engine in this kit, it's not to shabby and replicates the real B16 pretty well. I built this one to look exactly how my own car would look, if I had endless sums of money....

They suit the car very well, would suit a black or a darker grey car even better, are those deep dish?

Wow your 1:1 looks so cool (and im not a big fan of civics). If you build another one to look like your 1:1 then you should consider a resin turbo kit.
86_SR5

Resin kits aren't all that great from what I've heard. It's alot easier, IMO to scratchbuild a turbo setup. Your 1:1 looks pretty cool. Wouldn't you have preferred the DOHC engine to the SOHC for a turbo setup? (I know nothing about Honda's.)

gas mileage is pretty good actually, I get about 27-30mpg mixed, and I use the turbo, I don't baby it. Oddly enough I get better milage now then when it was stock. Plus I did a auto--> 5speed conversion early this year, so I'm sure that helped a bit. The reason I went with the turbo over a swap was pretty simple, Kit cost me $900, and I knew I had all the equipment neccesary to put it in myself, wheras I was probably looking at over $1500 to get a B and drop it in, so right now at 7psi, I'm making about the same HP as a B16 (damn 91 octane) but I'm also making 45-50lb/ft more torque.

:screwy: You did a conversion from Automatic to Manual is what your saying. How much did that set you back for? What Turbo kit is that on your car?

thats pretty good gas millege,
ive heard that 5 speed honda make better than auto, tho i dont know if thats true or not, my 1990 accord is getting 30 ish MPG right now, but the guy before me got around 37 or so with it on long trips
the 97 accord in my sig gets around 15 or so mpg in the city, but on trips gets about 27
hondas are great cars :evillol:
