Which front end?

Which front end do you prefer?

I'd go with the R33 if it's for an S14, just remember to put a big kit on it, otherwise it looks funny with the big front and tiny ASS.
Most folks don't like it, but I do, and it's far less common than the strawberry lights.

for my s13 coupe, i always wanted to s14 (97-98) front end. i think the lines would be better looking than the dated s13 silvia. but as i have a limited supply of money s13 silvia is all i will get. i know west yokohama makes a bolt on kit to mate the s14 front on an s13, but i can't find a contact to get more info.

Goin with the Skyline. If I can't get the real thing I might as well improvise.

im goin with the S15 front end. a r33 would look weird on my fastback~ =] not that i hate gtr's or anything.

for s14 i like 1997-1998 one, r33 looks pretty good kind of reminds me of 1995-1996 s14.
everyone wants s15, so i dont. s14 looks low and sporty, that was my choice.
By the way anyone knows the price of r33 conversion and where? (just wondering)

I haven't seen a conversion kit. I think the best way to go about doing it would be to buy an R33 front clip. Kill two birds with one stone. You get the RB engine, and if you are good, you could fit the body panels on yourself. Alot of custom work.

I would either go with the R33, because it is convenient if you are doing an RB engine swap, or I would go with the kouki front end, for the headlights.

most clips dont come with the body panels. theve already been taken by someone else.

I like the S15 front end, simply because its my favourite car. But it depends what car is being converted.

pop-ups arent that bad if they have them with lazy eyes.

Pavlo, I think the best shops I've found in GA were Nirvana, which they changed their name, but the shop is still in forest park, and also D&D customs, though D seems good at painting mostly, I think I would rather go to Nirvana, I saw their Demo CRX, I always hated these cars but the one they had looked tight as hell.

does anyone have the raceonusa s15 conversion? or at least seen it?. i'm interested in that kit since it's not very expensive, compared to a real s15 conversion anyway. pretty crappy that the headlights are almost as much as the kit lol. if the quality isn't so good i'll go just the regular sileighty style. thanks

ya just searched the usual 240 forums, everyone seems to ask if the kits are any good, but end up just being told about the hoods which are apparently really good for the price.

i voted for the jdm s13 couple lights, because my s13 couple just got its front end wrecked, and instead of ordering those factory parts i ordered the jdm front end conversion, i may have to pay extra, but it should be cheaper in the long run, i saw my car on tuesday and it had the jdm fenders and hood on it, hopefully it will be done sometime soon! Unless another hurricane hits here, because i live in florida and that will make it take longer. I will try and post pics of my car when its done, may or may not be soon though....

J/K, they have special cheap things to make it high octane. But i am not kind of person that tries to save money on their cars. I keep it in best possible shape. Also I think gasoline companies do it better than any of those products. And their gas is exectly in proportion.

i got the alcohal thing from my auto tech teacher, he raced a 73 mach 1 mustang for a few years so i trust him, but he was also a cop so i think he could be trying to trick me. also, never buy those fuel upgrade things, they suck ass and are overpriced.

i kinda like the 180sx front end w/ the slots in the headlights i think they call it pig nose or something like that but the 180sx front end is under rated in my mind

i wasn't a huge fan of the pig nose, but once i sleepy eyed it, wow

I prefer to have the 97-98 S14 front end conversion. Actually it also depends on the car I have too. If I had a older model 240SX I would get the S13 headlights. If a S14 I like the 97-98. I just like sticking to which car it would originally come in.

s13 coupe=jdm silvia
s13 hatch=flip up
s14=kouki style
s15=s15
r33=r33

im fairly simple. Although the one-via is hotter than the sil-eighty in my opinion(its probably because im used to looking at coupes with the flip-ups opposed to sil-40's <---rare site). Maybe if i witnessed a sil-40 with my own eyes i would change my mind. But if i had 10 240's and a billion dollars, id have each type. THere all cool to me, just i have preferences like everyone else.

I perfer the RPS13s front end the best, but I am a bigger fan of the 180SX (240SX hatch). then I have to say I like the Late model S14, then S15, then the S13. one day I will get around to buying a RPS13 to have as a daily driver and drop in the CA18 engine in it and be happy with it in stock form. But untill then I will continue to rack up the miles on the Z.

The RPS13 comes with an SR20 and is the same car as the 180X, so I'm not exactly sure what you are talking about.

I think there was a model of the 180 that came with the CA18. It was a cheaper version I belive. Either way, thats what I would throw in one for daily driving. I have grown out of the whole powersliding/drifting scene..... that was ten years ago for me, it was fun then but I grew to like grip style more. Was cheaper on the car.

180sx only came with ca18det from 89-90..

The RS13 came with the CA18, the RPS13 came with the SR20. Same goes with the Silvia, the S13 came with the CA18 and the PS13 came with the SR20.
